Reflective Journaling

The most successful people have a morning routine that they are consistent with.  One of the most common parts of a morning routine includes journaling.  Do you journal?  If you do, try this reflective journaling and let me know how it goes.

Often people tell me they don’t journal because they don’t know “how” or it feels heavy, or they don’t have time.  While there are so many different ways to journal, here is one that I find particularly helpful to get started.  Try it out and let me know what you think.

You might be someone who loves a pretty journal, or you might do your journaling on post it notes or napkins.  You may prefer to journal into your notes on your phone or on your laptop.  These details are not important, do whatever feels right for you.

Try some Reflective Journaling

Here are some great questions to ask yourself every day that are sure to lighten up this experience of being an alive human.  Allow your mind to wander.  See where it goes.

How can I live my best life?

What do I love about myself?

What can I do to laugh a lot today?

How can I make today better than yesterday?

How can I make myself a priority so I have more to give others?

What am I grateful for?

How can I become more connected to my internal joy?

How can I feel my emotions today?

How can I make choices that benefit me and everyone around me at the same time?

What if nothing has gone wrong and I am right where I am supposed to be?

Am I coming from a place of love or fear when I think about (insert something you are thinking about or a decision you are making)

When I don’t know something, I……………………………….

Play with these and let me know what you come up with! Get in tough here!

Love, Sheila
